Dr Alexander was a registrar in General Medicine and Rheumatology in London teaching hospitals and Senior Registrar in Rheumatology before deciding to do GP training coinciding with an increasing interest in acupuncture. She still works in Rheumatology part-time seeing GP referrals and helps run a joint injection clinic.
