Dr Rosemary Alexander has been practising
acupuncture for over 20 years. She has worked for 16 years as an NHS GP,
specialising in rheumatology, recently changing to work privately. Dr
Alexander initially trained in Traditional Acupuncture in China and Sri
Lanka and practised acupuncture in Hong Kong and China for three years.
She was a registrar in General Medicine and Rheumatology in London
teaching hospitals and Senior Registrar in Rheumatology before deciding
to do GP training, coinciding with an increasing interest in acupuncture. She also practises as a holistic GP and has an interest in other
complementary therapies, e.g. for the menopause and chronic fatigue
syndrome.
Dr Alexander has had several papers published on acupuncture and was an
elected member of the
British Medical Acupuncture Council
for 3 years.
She is an accredited
specialist with all major medical insurance companies (BUPA, PPP, WPA etc.).

Pratibha has been practising reflexology for over 9 years as well as
learning different massage techniques, (ladies only). She also does
ear candling (which is more pleasant than an ear syringe!)
