Dr Alexander has been practicing acupuncture for 25 years initially training in Sri Lanka and China gaining the WHO Diploma in Acupuncture. She works part time in the Rheumatology department for Barnet Trust and has published articles on her work.

Fine needles are inserted using a combined traditional / western approach followed by electro-acupuncture and manipulation if necessary. Massage is available on site which can complement the acupuncture.

We also have a powerful new laser machine for laser acupuncture which is totally painless, penetrates to a depth of 2 inches and is very good at treating frozen shoulder (this has been proven in a clinical trial at Manchester University). It is also useful for Achilles tendonitis and any other tendon or muscle problem. Treatments are part of a research project so the charge is only £20.

For regular acupuncture sessions (minimum of six), senior citizens (over 65) and ex-practice patients a 10% discount is given.

otherwise a 50% cancellation charge will be payable.
